TEHRAN - The secretary of the Student Office for Consolidating Unity has said that if President Hassan Rouhani does not devise a plan to end the current economic downturn, his administration will be registered in Iran’s public mind as the “government of stagnation”.
Iran’s public memory has registered the Rafsanjani administration as one of technocrat economy, the reform government as one of cultural downfall, and the Ahmadinejad administration as one of inflation economy, Mohammad Hossein Qaedsharaf pointed out, Fars reported on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion of Student Day, Qaedsharaf further said that economic issues are “the greatest obsession of a society whose representatives and spokespeople are students.”
